THE PEAK HILL PROJECT - PHASE 1
Director - Warren McGurgan
Phase 1 of the Peak Hill Project year usually commences when a small group of year ten and eleven Students from Peak Hill travel to Sydney accompanied by a Head Teacher in November prior to Christmas.
The students and teacher are billeted by BRC club members and over a period of 4-5 days are escorted on an organised program. Involving a weekend tour guide, plus 2 days of planned instructional visits to Businesses and
Organisations related to their career interests in and around the Northern Beaches.
This provided the students with some real and practical insight into the career options available to them. This did not take place in 2021 Because of COVID restrictions.

THE PEAK HILL PROJECT - PHASE 2
Director - Warren McGurgan
Phase 2 is normally held around the middle of May the following year at the Peak Hill Central School.
This involves a small team of Belrose Rotarians, partners and our Exchange student travelling to Peak Hill, where we
provide confidence building activities, including training on how to write a CV and job application, and how to present themselves during an interview.
The second day will involve us carrying out mock interviews with the Students.
We are hoping this will take place in May of 2022.
