Belrose Rotary Club

Who are we?

Belrose Rotary Club was chartered in October 1986 with 25 members.

We are part of Rotary International, a world wide organization, with 1.2 million members in 36,000 clubs in 220 countries around the world.

A Members Role

Rotary is voluntary organization whose members are busy people. We participate within our own abilities and time constraints. We welcome people who have an interest in the community - locally, nationally and internationally - who recognize that collectively we can achieve more that as individuals.

Club Projects

Since our Club was chartered we have undertaken many local and international projects amongst which are -

> Raised and distributed over $800,000 to organisations, schools and charities.

> Sponsored and hosted 60 Rotary Exchange Students.

> Recognised the work done by local residents, students, businesses and employees through our various Annual Awards Programs.

> Organised and supported  a wide variety of youth development projects and supported local schools.

> Collected and distributed over 25,000 presents to charitable organisations from our annual Tree of Joy Project at Christmas time.

> For over 20 years we have suported the community of Peak Hill (a small town in Western NSW) with drought relief assistance and by running a vocational training program with the local school.

Club Meetings

We normally hold a breakfast meeting at 7 am on the first Tuesday of each month and 2 or 3  dinner meetings each month at 7pm. Please go to OUR CLUB to find out more details regarding our present meeting arrangements since COVID.

Meetings are not mandatory and the public are welcome to attend. Our club is always looking for new members of the community to join our club and assist in local events to assist those in the Belrose, Davidson and Frenchs Forest suburbs.
